About Me ~ Claire Palmer

I moved from England to Prince Edward Island with my husband and two dogs in August 2007. I have always been very creative and as a child I was always very practical making various arts & crafts. Whilst living in Cambridge I completed a Jewelry Design course and started creating individual pieces for friends and family.
When I moved to PEI I was very lucky to meet a lovely lady called Mary Curtis and I attended her art classes. Mary also owned an Artisan Gallery in Charlottetown and a selection of my Jewelry was made available to customers on a consignment basis, but it was always my dream to have my very own gift shop.
I am now the fifth member of an Artisan Partnership and very lucky to be working (creating) with four lovely and very talented ladies. We've all been called to the 'Island' and together we create a beautiful selection of hand-crafted gifts all made here on PEI.
